Oxford Round Table held another successful annual Charity Fireworks Event and Bonfire at South Parks Headington Oxford on Saturday 7th November 2009.
The Fireworks worth £11,000 lit the sky's above Oxford again this year followed by the burning of the Ice Princess Wicker Sculpture (the winning design of Joshua age 8 from Oxford) and then the huge bonfire. The crowd were entertained by fire throwers, drummers and morris dancers with fire. The atmosphere was amazing.
All proceeds of the event go to local charities and is run purely by volunteers of Oxford Round Table with help from Rotary, 41 Club and Friends. An update of money raised and attendance on the night will be updated here as soon as we receive final figures.
