Awesome fireworks & wicker man, but please don't bother with the blaring music next year.

BY REMOTEGOAT The night was cold and crisp in fact the very same weather I remember from my previous visits to firework nights many years ago. The entry system seemed well managed and staffing and directions were good. The firework display was very put together by Kim Bolton Fireworks and it was very interesting to see the work of The Wicker Project. I am sure the night proved to be a big success for the charities involved and The Oxford Round Table deserve a lot of praise for putting on such a wonderful show. I went with my wife and some friends and their children absolutely loved the event. The music competition was also a added bonus and helped make the night one to remember. I already have the 5th November event 2011 in my diary and look forward to returning.
The best Oxford Fireworks event yet! Great to see so many people there. The Wickerman looked amazing and the fireworks themselves were brilliant as always. It was great to have the JACKfm stage there and we're looking forward to next year already!
I just wanted to say thank you for arranging the fireworks on Saturday. The display was lovely and the wicker man unforgettable, the volunteers were brilliant and coped well with the huge numbers of people. You deserve hearty congratulations for what must have been a great deal of work, and I hope judging by the number of people there I'm pretty sure you raised a great deal for your chosen charities. Best Wishes Helen Payne.

I am struggling to remember the last time that I woke up as tired and achy as I did on Sunday morning, certainly for as good a reason as beeing part of Saturday's firework celebrations. I had a great time on the day and it was a true pleasure to be among so many people dedicating themselves to such a good event for other people's benefit. I will remember the view I had of Oxford from the top of the bonfire's palates for a long time. Thank you for letting me be part of such an inspirational day. BEN
