ROUND TABLE HELPS ROSY

This year the Oxford Round Table have decided to invite ROSY to be the lead charity to benefit from the 2009 event who are honoured to be selected and enthusiastically accept our invitation.

South Park bonfire is sure to melt Ice Princess

Jason Priest, of Oxford Round Table, said: “Being a charity we welcome any exposure and this is massive for us.

“We’re still looking for donations of pallets for the main fire this year.”

Search on for red hot wicker man design

Last year’s fireworks display in South Park attracted 16,000 people and raised about £25,000 distributed to local charities by Oxford Round Table.

Mr Barton, who builds the wickermen free of charge, added: “It’s an absolute pleasure to do this with Oxford Round Table.

“They work so hard for this event and they don’t really get to see the fireworks because they’re so busy doing their bit on the night.”
